Herwin Novianto

21.11.1965, Jakarta, Indonesia

Novianto is a director and screenwriter. He made his debut in 2009 with the Jagad X code for which he also wrote the screenplay. His drama Tanah surga... katanya (2012) won the Citra awards for best film, director and original screenplay at the Indonesian Film Festival. His last feature film is the drama, Aisyah: Biarkan Kami Bersaudara (2016). He directed two award-winning TV films - Papi, Mami, dan Tukang Kebun (Father, Mother, and the Gardener, 2011) and Pahala Terindah (The Most Beautiful Reward, 2012).
