Luca Miniero (1967) and Paolo Genovese (Rim, 1966)


Genovese graduated with a degree in economics and Miniero with a degree in contemporary literature. Together they worked on many marketing campaigns as well as radio and TV productions for RAI, such as the musical Jesus Christ Superstar. In 1999, they made two short films, Piccole cose di valore non quantificabile and Scoperta di Walter, which won many domestic and international awards, in 2001 they directed their first feature film, Incantesimo napoletano (A Neapolitan Spell), a remake of their short film from 1998.
