Enzo Monteleone

 

Director and screenwriter Enzo Monteleone (1954, Italy), also known as
Vincenzo Monteleone, wrote 14 screenplays and directed 3 films. He made his
directing debut with the film La vera vita di Antonio H. (1994). He won
the FEDIC awards at the Venice film festival. His most recent film, El
Alamein
(2002), won three David di Donatello awards (cinematography,
editing, sound). He wrote the screenplay for the popular Italian film
Mediteraneo
(1991, directed by G. Salvatores), which won an Oscar in
the category of the best foreign film.

Synopsis:

This film is the biography of the famous bank robber Horst Fantazzini.
