Director and screenwriter who graduated from the Tokyo Art University with the film A bao a qu (2007). In that same year he was one of the directors of the omnibus Konjaku monogatari: The new edition. Three years later he directed the humorous drama Aburakurasu no matsuri (Abraxas, 2010), and his last film until now is the sci-fi musical drama 2045 Carnival Folklore (2015).

Synopsis:

The protagonist of the film is a Buddhist priest who in his youth used to be a singer and a guitarist in the punk rock band in Tokyo. Now, as an older man he tries to cope with depression and care for his wife and son. One day in the temple, he has an outburst of anger in front of a group of visiting students and decides to face his past and try to play music again. Thee head priest in the temple thinks it is a good idea, but his wife is worried…
