Director
Swedish director, screenwriter and editor. He studied cinema at the Stockholm University. He started making short films as a teenager, and continued making them as a professional. Based on his short TV film I rymden finns inga känslor (2010), the same year he directed his first theatrical feature film of the same name. The film achieved box office success, and was also chosen as the Swedish Oscar candidate for Best Foreign Film in 2011. Öhman owns a small animation company Naive AB from Stockholm, whose animations were featured in Simple Simon (I rymden finns inga känslor, 2010). After that, he made the short Bara sex (2012), the feature Bitchkram (2012) and the short Göra slut (2012).

Synopsis:

Moved by ideals of freedom, Dominican friars decide to stand up to the military dictatorship. That experience will change them forever. The film is based on biographical records of father Betto, about his life and the lives of his fellow priests and associates, Tito, Fernando and Ivo. During the military dictatorship in Brazil, which lasted from 1964 to 1985, they helped the leftists fight against the authorities until their arrest, when they were brutally tortured.
