Director
Recha is a self-taught director and screenwriter who never had any formal education in film. He has shot many short films and made his feature film debut with El cielo sube in 1991. He made his next film The Cherry Tree (L'arbre de les cireres) seven years later, and afterwards the drama Pau i el seu germà (2001) and Where Is Madame Catherine? (Los manos vacias, 2003). In the film Dies d'agost (2006), he starred together with his twin brother David Recha; they both wrote the screenplay and Marc directed it. His latest film is Little Indi (Petit indi, 2009).

Synopsis:

Catherine, an older woman, passes away under the watchful eye of her pet parrot Perroquet, and a mechanic Eric buries her body secretly. None of the inhabitants of a small town in the Pyrenees Port-Vendres notices her absence. A conductor, Sophie, still works in trains, a café owner Yann continues to serve the wine that he enjoys with his friend Eric and police officer Jean-Claude. Chief assistant still suffers in vain for the young Lola, Yann an dAnne’s daughter.
