Pietro Reggiani

 

Pietro Reggiani was born in Verona in 1966. He graduated with a degree in law and attended classes in screenwriting organized by the RAI Television, and made commercials and interviews. In 1977, he wrote the screenplay for and directed the short film Asino che legge, which won the critics’ award at the Turin Film Festival and qualified for the David di Donatello award. A year later Reggiani and his friend Antonio Ciano (who won the Nastro d’Argento award for best producer for Asino chi legge) founded their distribution house Nuvola Film. Between 1998 and 2005 he wrote and directed L’estate di mio fratello. In 2001 for Studio Universal he wrote and directed a feature film that resembles a documentary, Paolo Nulla: un uomo invisibile. He works in marketing and on television.

Synopsis:

This is a story about one summer in Sergio’s life. Sergio, the only son in a rich family, is an imaginative boy who is the center of attention for his parents. Every summer Sergio and his parents leave their apartment in Verona and move to the country. Here Sergio rules his magic kingdom.
