Ljubiša Ristić graduated as a director from the
Academy for Theatre, Film, Radio and Television in Belgrade with the
theater play Buba u uhu (1971). In Zagreb, he made his 1980 directorial
debut, Luda kuća, based on the screenplay originally planned for Obrad
Gluščević. Additionally, Ristić appeared in several films as an actor and wrote
several scripts for German TV series and films. He is famous for his
controversial political activity in Serbia.
