Ladislav Rychman

Rychman studied philosophy at the Prague University and began his film career after WW II, during which he directed feature films: Kruh (1959), a successful musical Starci na chmelu (1964), a comedy Lady on the Tracks (Dama na kolejich, 1966), the crime story Sest cerných dívek aneb Proc zmizel Zajíc? (1969), the musical comedy Jen ho nechte, at se bojí (1977), drama Láska na druhý pohled (1981) and the sci-fi 'Babicky dobíjejte presne!' (1983). He also directed documentaries and TV films.

Synopsis:

This is a Czech comedy about a wife who is eager to save her marriage after she accidentally sees her husband kissing another woman. The first step is to take out all the money from the bank and the second to turn herself into a beautiful, attractive and sophisticated woman!
