Synopsis:

This is a drama that takes place in a fishing village in south Iran where people live according to traditional ways - a person suspected of being a thief must put his/her hand in boiling oil and if it does not scald him he will be regarded as innocent. A woman who has lost her husband has no rights until her husband’s body is found and she is proclaimed a widow and may marry again. Such is the destiny of the film’s heroine, a young and beautiful woman who lost her husband during a fishing trip....
