Shibuichi is a Japanese animator and director. She started to work as an animator in the mid 1970s and directed animated series Urusei Yatsura (1988-1989) and Damekko dôbutsu (2005) and animated films Momoko, kaeru-no uta-ga kikoeruyo (My Sister Momoko, 2003) and Garasu-no usagi (The Glass Rabbit, 2005).
