Lasse Spang Olsen worked for twenty years as a
coordinator of film extras on more than three hundred films in Denmark and
throughout Europe. His directing opus consists of many commercials, music
videos, and short films, and as a director of photography, he made four Danish
feature films. As a director, he made his feature film debut with Hvor ligger
Painful City?
(1993). He achieved great success with the film I Kina spiser de hunde (1999), which got a sequel three years later. Up
to the present, he has directed thirteen feature, documentary and TV films. This
year and next, he is expected to finish his latest two films.
