Vito Zagarrio, director, screenwriter and film historian, was born in Florence in 1952. He graduated from Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome. Before making Tre giorni d’anarchia he directed two feature films, La donna della luna with Greta Scacchi and Bonus Malus. He has also directed many short films and documentaries. His experimental film Un bel dě vedremo won the David di Donatello award in1989. He presented his short film Elogio del suicidio at the Venice Film Festival in 2000. Currently he is teaching directing at the Scuola Nazionale di Cinema in Rome and film history at the Roma Tre University. He has also published several books.

Synopsis:
