Roman Zaluski

10.12.1936, Lida, Poljska

 

Director and screenplay writer. He studied production management and directing at the Film Academy in Łódź (1954-1958). His first work was a TV drama in 1960. His theatrical debut came in Kalisz in 1964. He started shooting short meters in 1956 and feature films in 1970. He is close to auteur film.

Synopsis:

It is the year 1963 in Wroclaw. Doctor Adam Rawicz diagnoses smallpox in one of his patients. Nobody believes his assessment so he sets out to establish the epidemiological chain on his own.
