Synopsis:
After having spent thirteen years in prison for a crime she did not commit, Geum-ja Lee is free again. At the age of nineteen she was convicted of kidnapping and murdering a boy, but her sentence was reduced on account of good behavior. Her only goal now is to find her daughter and take her revenge on the people who are to blame for her ill fate. With the help of her former cellmates, she sets off on a journey of revenge, and at the same time finds out that her daughter was adopted by an Australian family.
