Ameur-Zaďmeche (born in 1966) is a director, screenwriter and actor. He was born in Algiers and moved to France as a two-year-old. He grew up in the Parisian suburbs, and after studying sociology, in 1999 founded the production company Sarrazinc Productions. In 2001 he made his first film Wesh wesh, qu'est-ce qui se passe?. Four years later he wrote and directed his second feature film Bled Number One (2006).
