Director
Argentine screenwriter, director and producer, in the world of film since an early age. He carries his grandfather\'s name (1914 - 1981) who was an actor, producer, director and screenwriter, while his father Victor (born in 1943) was an actor and a producer. Armando started working in film and in advertising as early as seventeen. In 2005 together with Patrizio Alvarez he founded Rebolucion, one of the largest Ibero American production companies for promotional films, and directed numerous commercials. In 2009 he was the co-writer of the film Biutiful, together with Alejandro González Iñárritu and Nicolás Giacobone, whom he also worked with on Birdman (2014). His directing debut was the film The Last Elvis (El último Elvis, 2012) which he co-wrote with Giacobone, winning a number of awards, at Sundance Film Festival in 2012 - Grand Jury Prize, San Sebastian International Film Festival - Horizons Award, Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Argentina Award – best new actor, best camera, best music.

Synopsis:

Carlos Gutierrez (Elvis) is a divorced singer. He has a young daughter Lisa Marie, whom he hardly ever sees.
