Director

South Korean director and screenwriter started his career as an assistant director on films Taeyangeun eobda (City of the Rising Sun, 1999) by Sung-su Kim and Haengbokhan jangeuisa (Happy Funeral Director, 2000) by Mun-il Jang. He directed his first short film The End of April in 2000, and five years later he made his debut with the feature comedy Mapado. After that came the melodrama Sarang-eul nochida (Lost in Love, 2006), the romantic drama Geu-dae-leul Sa-rang-hab-ni-da (Late Blossom, 2011) and the historical Gwanghae, Wangyidoen namja (Masquerade, 2012) which was a great success, both commercially and with the critics.

Synopsis:

The film follows the story of two couples from the same neighborhood. Kim Man-seok is the local milkman who runs deliveries every dawn on his motorcycle. On his usual route he meets Mrs. Song I-ppoon who makes a living by collecting old paper from the waste disposal next to which Jang Goon-bong works as a parking lot guard. Being late for work one day, the guard asks Song I-ppoon to lock his door…

Synopsis:
