Paolo Franchi

Director and screenwriter, born in 1969, Franchi graduated with a degree in directing from the Centro sperimentale di cinematografia. He began his career as an assistant director. In 1978, He made his first short film, Pagine di un diario personale. In 1996 he made his film Frammenti di sapienza, which won many awards, including an award at the Venice Film Festival. In 2003, he made his feature film debut with the film La spettatrice (The Spectator). Over the past few years he has been researching the electronic arts and writing screenplays.
