Ryosuke Hashiguchi

Hashiguchi is a Japanese director, screenwriter and editor. He has been making films since high school. He directed, wrote, edited and starred in the medium-length film Yube no himitsu (A Secret Evening, 1989). His first feature film Hatachi no binetsu (A Touch of Fever, 1993) achieved commercial success. Afterwards he made the popular Nagisa no Shindobaddo (Like Grains of Sand, 1995), Hush (2001) and Gururi no koto (All Around Us, 2008).
Naoya and Katsuhiro, a young homosexual couple at the beginning of their relationship, accidentally meet Asako, an impulsive girl who wants a child but has no luck in love. Seeing a perfect father in Katsuhiro, she asks him to be a donor. Even though Naoya immediately forbids that possibility, Katsuhiro secretly accepts the offer.
