Simon Klose

03.09.1975, Lund, Sweden

Klose is a Swedish producer and directed. He graduated in law from the university in Stockholm and later studied and lived in Japan and South Africa. He produced and directed many music videos and music documentaries (Spelberoende and Standard Bearer). In 2006, he made the short documentary Sweet Memories Garden Centre. TPB AFK: The Pirate Bay Away from Keyboard (2012) is his first feature documentary.

Synopsis:

Documentary about the three founders of Pirate Bay: Gottfrid Svartholm, Peter Sunde and Fredrik Nei. We follow them from when they were hackers, internet activists, computer junkies and founders of the most popular webpage for downloads of movies and music to the time when they became persecuted by the media and entertainment industry.
