Marcus Baldini

 

Director

Baldini is a Brazilian director and producer. He graduated from the School for Communication and Art in 1998 and began his career directing promotional videos for MTV Brazil. He co-directed the musical Maria Rita (2003), which was a recording of the popular Brazilian singer’s concert. Afterwards he directed the drama Confessions of a Brazilian Call Girl (Bruna Surfistinha, 2011) based on the story about the famous prostitute. It was his feature film debut that was very popular and won several Brazilian film awards (best actress, best film). Afterwards he directed several TV series and then in 2014, the romantic comedy Os Homens São de Marte... E é pra Lá que Eu Vou! In that same year he directed the TV series Psi about a psychiatrist and his family.
