Michel Munz

 

Michel Munz (born on October 9, 1961) and Gerard Bitton (born on
October 6, 1953) have been working together from the mid 1990s. Michel Munz
began his career as a screenwriter for many TV series, such as Salut les
homards
(1988-1991) and Seconde B (1993). After graduating in moral
and political philosophy, Gerard Bitton, worked as a screenwriter for many TV
series, such as Compagnons de l'aventure (1989) and Crimes en série
(1998). They both worked on the popular TV series Extręme limite
(1994). In 1997, they wrote the screenplay for the film La Vérité si je mens
directed by Thomas Gilou, which was very successful. Four years later they
worked on the sequel La Vérité si je mens 2 (2001), also directed
by Gilou. Encouraged by their success they made their directing debut in 2002
with the film Ah! si j'etais riche), for which they also wrote the screenplay.

Synopsis:

Aldo is going through a painful divorce, has debts piling up, and is in constant fear of losing his job because of the new boss who is supposed to arrive at his company. Suddenly he wins ten million euros on lottery, and just when he wants to share the great news with his wife, he catches her kissing his new boss. Aldo decides to hide the news until the divorce comes through and continues to live as a poor man…
