Writer, director and producer, born in 1962, Reims. His most notable animation credits include the feature film Moomins on the Riviera (2014), TV-series Odd Family (2005), Marcelino, Pan y Vino (2001) and Littlest Pet Shop (1995). He directed seven animated short films for the French pavilion at the World Expo Shanghai 2010 and has been an animation faculty member at the CFT Gobelins Animation University in France. In 2000, he co-founded Pictak S.A.S. together with the Japanese born producer Takashi Masunaga.  Xavier Picard is also a co-owner of  a post-production house Ramses2 Paris.
