Director, screenwriter, producer and editor. Teaches directing at the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo. He won the Silver Leopard at the Locarno Film Festival for Fuse (2003). He directed several short fiction and documentary films, theatre plays, TV formats, promotional and music videos.

Synopsis:

Nakon nekoliko godina što ih nije obilazio, sredovječni Fuad Memić zvani Fuke stigne u posjet svom stricu Idrizu i strini Sabiri. Formalni razlog Fukeova dolaska je popravak bojlera u amidžinoj kući, no kako to već biva, stric i amidžinica će nećaka pozvati na kavu, što će on sa zadovoljstvom prihvatiti. Međutim, vrlo brzo će se suočiti s velikom samoćom i neizlječivom boli dvoje starih ljudi kojima je tijekom rata u 90-ima poginuo sin. A kad počne popravljati posve dotrajali bojle...

Synopsis:

After ten years in Germany, Armin returns to Bosnia. He just got married and wants to surprise his father Fuda. But Fuda is nowhere to be found. The neighbours say he was arrested, but no one knows why. The newspapers say he is suspected of war crime. As the neighbourhood celebrates May Labour Day, Armin tries to get to the truth. Darkly humorous drama about the Balkan mentality, which closed the Sarajevo Film Festival.
