Synopsis:

Farmer Pajo is a hardcore individualist with very little faith in his fellow men. He is disappointed and enraged with his son Toma’s decision to move to the city and abandon the farm, and thus completely neglects everything: he sleeps in a stable, does not wash himself or change his clothes. Above all, he is hostile towards Manda, a woman that came to live with him and take care of him…
