Sinko is a director and screenwriter who graduated communications at the Faculty of Social Studies in Ljubljana. During his studies in 2001, he enrolled to the Academy for Theatre, Radio, Film and Television in Ljubljana. He gained his first film experience as assistant director at the Prešern’s Theatre in Kranj and at the Mladinsko Theatre in Ljubljana. He directed short features, documentary Štejemo (2004) and features Angoraangora (2005), Dedek mraz (2007) and Sošolki (2015). He co-wrote and co-directed his documentary Hiške (2014) with Matjaž Ivanišin.
