Son of Annie and Philippe Ernaux, was born in 1968. He studined science, and then turned to science journalism. He wrote and directed the mini-series Théâtre des machines, Corpus, Art and Sport. The Super 8 Years (2022) is his first feature length documentary, which he filmed with his mother Annie.
