Hannes Martin Holm is a Swedish director, screenwriter and actor. He had his first experience on film as an actor in Inter Rail (1981) by the director Birgitte Svensson, and later starred in TV series. He mostly worked with his friend Mĺns Herngren with whom he had a long-lasting directing-screenwriting-acting collaboration. Together they made the humorous TV series S*M*A*S*H (1990) and the feature film En pĺ miljonen (1995). Afterwards, they achieved great success in Swedish cinemas with the romantic comedy Adam & Eva (1997). In the following year, Holm, Herngren and several other partners founded the production house Fladenfilm AB that produces feature films and TV series. Their comedy Det blir aldrig som man tänkt sig (2000) was not very successful, but they regained their popularity with the film Klassfesten (2002). Afterwards, they made Varannan vecka (2006) and Underbar och älskad av alla (och pĺ jobbet gĺr det ocksĺ bra) (2007), directed by Holm on his own, but with the screenplay by Holm and Herngren. Holm wrote and directed the drama Himlen är oskyldigt blĺ (2010) which was well accepted. His return to comedy with Sune i Grekland - All Inclusive (2012) and its sequel Sune pĺ bilsemester (2013) was not very succesful.
