Yoon-ki Lee

Yoon-ki Lee is a Korean director and screenwriter. He graduated with a degree in economics from the University of Southern California. After returning to Korea, he worked as a producer and director of several short films. In 2004, he made his directing debut with the feature film This Charming Girl (Yeoja, Jeong-hye, 2004) which attracted attention of domestic as well as international film critics. His drama Love Talk (Reobeu tokeu, 2005) was not equally successful. Afterwards he made two film adaptations of works by the Japanese writer Asuko Taira Ad-Lib Night (Aju teukbyeolhan sonnim, 2006) and My Dear Enemy (Meotjin haru, 2008). In 2009, he began filming the intimate drama Breakfast at Tiffany\'s, but due to financial difficulties the film was never finished even though most of the material was already shot. His last film is Come Rain, Come Shine (Saranghanda, saranghaji anneunda, 2011).
