Paul Mikael Maurice Marcimain is a Swedish director. He began his career in the 1990’s as assistant director on TV series. Soon he started directing on his own; his TV series include Lasermannen (2005) and Upp till kamp (2007). As a feature film director he made his debut with the award-winning political thriller Call Girl (2012). Two years later he directed the film Gentlemen (2014).

Synopsis:

Even though it is based on a real scandal of underage prostitution that shocked Sweden in the 1970’s, the film uses fictional characters and events. The main character is Iris, a teenager who gets sent to a home for delinquents. Together with a friend she sneaks out each night and on one occasion meets Dagmar Glans. She is a Madame in charge of organizing prostitutes for rich and powerful men. Unaware of her power, a policeman starts to investigate the operation…
