The Pang twins (Hong Kong, China, 1965) are directors (Oxide directed more films), screenwriters and editors (Danny edited more films). They began their career in Hong Kong where Danny worked as an editor and Oxide worked as a digital film color editor. They moved to Bangkok and together directed Bangkok Dangerous (1999). Before that Oxide made his directing debut with Ta fa likit (1997). They achieved international fame with their joint direction of the horror film The Eye (Gin gwai, 2002) after which they made the sequels The Eye 2 (Gin gwai 2, 2004) and The Eye 10 (Gin gwai 10, 2005); the original film was made as a remake in America and India (unofficial remake). They co-directed the horror film Gwai wik (Re-cycle, 2006), The Messengers (2007) in American production, the American remake of their original Bangkok Dangerous (2008), action film Fung wan II (Storm Warriors, 2009) and the horror Child's Eye (2010). Besides working together they both direct their own films as well.
