Boris Quercia

Quercia is a Chilean actor, director and screenwriter. He graduated from the University of Chile with a degree in acting. He is the founder of the theatre group Teatro Provisorio and works as an actor on TV, film and in theatre. As a self-taught director he first started making short films and made his feature debut with L.S.D. Afterwards he made the most popular Chilean film of all time, Sexo con amor (2003). In 2004, he directed the mini TV series Geografía del deseo. His next feature film was the comedy El rey de los huevones (2006) and after that he directed another TV series HyT 2 (2007).

Synopsis:

Anselmo is a good-natured and naďve taxi driver who always puts other people’s needs before his own. Even though he is attracted to his best friend’s girlfriend, he does not do anything about it. When a passenger leaves a bag full of money in his taxi, he hands it to the police and earns the nickname “king of fools”. Synopsis:
