Director

Takagi is a Japanese director and animator. He began his career in late 1980’s working on anime TV series such as Ranma ½ (1989) and Ginga Sengoku Gunyuuden Rai (1995). For the video market he directed the short TV series Panzer Dragoon (1996). One of his last works is the medium-length Shin SOS dai Tôkyô tankentai (SOS! Tokyo Metro Explorers: The Next, 2007).

Synopsis:

Ryouhei is a boy attending elementary school who finds his father’s diary from when he was young. It is an adventure diary that mentions hidden treasure and so Ryouhei gathers a few of his friends. They are joined by his unwanted but very resourceful younger brother and they go on an expedition to the underground passages of Tokyo. Soon they find out that the underground is not deserted and they encounter many surprises…
