Niels van Koevorden (1984) is Dutch but spend his childhood in Belgium. At the age of 17 he returned to the Netherlands to study at the Bernhard Lievegoed College of Liberal Arts. Here he discovered film, which took him to the Dutch Film Academy in
Amsterdam. There he graduated (in 2010) as a documentary film director with his film Lukomir Six Months Off. He also
works as a cinematographer, for his own films as well as for other directors.  His first feature-length film is Ne me quitte pas (2015), made in co-direction with Sabine Lubbe Bakker).
