Synopsis:
This film is the biography of the famous bank robber Horst Fantazzini. He was
known in North Italy under the name gentleman-thief because he never used
violence in his robberies -- only his fake revolver. After many trials and
escapes, in the summer of 1973 he was sent to the Fossano prison . When
he tries to escape from it, things do not go according to plan, and he is forced
to use a real gun and threaten his hostages… The film was nominated for the most important Italian film award, David di
Donatello, in four categories – leading actor, supporting actor, editor, and
music.
