This is a film about a serial killer who terrorized Boston in the early 1960s and it is based on a true story. The story is told from the perspective of a detective who investigates several cases of what look to be, at first glance, unconnected murders of women. As a result of huge media pressure, John S. Bottomly from the General Attorney’s office joins the investigation and every lead, even the smallest one, gets checked.
