Synopsis:
The award-winning biography of the American writer Truman Capote for whose portrayal Philip Seymour Hoffman won an Oscar, Golden Globe, BAFTA and many other awards. The film follows the writing of Capote’s last book "In Cold Blood", which was based on real events.
After reading an article about a murder of an entire family in Kansas, Capote decided to write a piece for The New Yorker magazine. Researching the details of the crime, he gets personally involved in the story he is writing about.
