Synopsis:
A provincial political activist arrives at a small town as a contemporary
replacement for the cultural referee. The town’s inhabitants nurture the
tradition of its late famous resident, the composer Ciguli Miguli. The newcomer
believes that his reforms are the best and most useful for people in the
socialist regime, but his policies cause the town’s revolt… This was the first and the only attempt at satiric portrayal of the
contemporary social reality (socialism). Labeled as propaganda against the
ruling political party, it was banned. It was shown for the first time in 1977.
