Synopsis:
Adel Imam and Omar Sharif, two of the most famous Egyptian actors in their first collaboration, play members of different religions. Because of threats directed at two religious extremists, the government puts them in protective custody. They end up in opposite social and cultural surroundings. Omar Sharif plays a Muslim, Hassan, who later becomes Morcus, a member of the Coptic Christian minority in Egypt. Adel Imam is Copt Polles, who later becomes the Muslim Hassan. They moved into the same building and become friends, but questions remain as to whether or not they will be able to overcome the differences hidden behind their new identities.
