Synopsis:
This is a story about demons from Loudun set in Poland in 17th century. A catholic priest arrives at a small town’s convent and tries to exorcize a demon from one of the nuns. A local priest who led the nuns into sin and was burnt for doing so caused this hysterical situation. In addition, a young priest helps the nun fight her demons. In 1961, this film won a special award in Cannes.
