Synopsis:

Best friends, young Sophie and Alice are growing up in a picturesque Swedish village dreaming of going into the world. After their graduation they plan to move to Berlin together. After a fight during which Alice accuses Sophie of being a coward, their plans fall through. Alice leaves with her boyfriend, and Sophie spends the next week trying to contact her. She soon learns that her friend mysteriously vanished and then died in Berlin and tries to find out what really happened. She goes to Berlin to find answers.
