Synopsis:
This is a biopic about the Italian poet Giacomo Leopardi (1798-1837). He was born in a rich and noble family and from early age learned Latin, Greek, Hebrew, Aramaic and English in his father’s library. His parents wanted him to become a priest but he was more attracted to literature and so he began to write his first verses. His wandering and curious spirit inspires him to explore the world. However, when he finally managed to leave his parents’ home, he did not find happiness or satisfaction.
