Synopsis:
Margit Blucha is a bank clerk, divorced with two grown up children. On the outside she seems adapted and integrated, but on the inside she is isolated and lonely. Due to her son's upcoming wedding with a girl from Ukraine, she becomes even more desperate. Incapable of a true relationship and a stranger to herself, Margit reacts in haste. She forcefully recreates a family and social surrounding according to her liking unaware that she is destroying people on the way… This film won Barbara Graftner the Max Ophuls prize in 2002.
