Synopsis:
This is the film version of Pu Yi, the last Chinese emperor’s biography. As a three year old, Pu Yi became an emperor, but four years later China is made a republic and his empire becomes a small territory of the Forbidden City. This film follows Pu Yi’s life, from his luxurious childhood to his last years that he spent as a gardener in a botanical garden in Peking.
