Teenager Eva lives with her mother, younger sister and troublemaker cat. Her burning desire is to move in with her estranged father Martin, a professional painter, sculptor, poet, and drunkard who is going through a second adolescence. As Martin battles a mental crisis and his repressed anger, Eva clings to him, balancing between the restless sensitivity of teenage life and the ruthlessness of the adult world.
