Synopsis:
Fifteen-year-old Sebbe lives with his mother in an apartment that is much too small. He is quiet and shy, bullied at school, and his relationship with his mother is not very good either. Although he loves her, she secretly blames him for her own misfortune in life. Sebbe’s only refuge is the local junk yard, where he can be at peace and where he can express himself creatively. He is unusually skilled at repairing, modifying and piecing together discarded electronic equipment.
The film won the Best First Feature Award at the 2010 Berlinale and the most prestigious Swedish award Guldbagge for best film in 2011.
