Synopsis:

The main character is the secret guide through a mysterious fenced off area called the Zone, which is guarded by the army. There is a Room in the Zone that has the power to grant the deepest wishes to a person who enters it. Usual laws do not apply in the Zone and dangers are invisible, but Stalker has the gift to sense any danger and find a way out. In spite of his wife’s uneasiness and objections, Stalker leads a quiet scientist and a sceptic writer who lost his inspiration into the Zone.
