Synopsis:
Having gotten out of prison, Bruno Stroszek befriends a prostitute, Eva, and an eccentric old man, Scheiz. The three of them leave Berlin and set off on their way to America in search of a better life and the fulfilment of the American dream. They settle near a deserted truckers’ inn in Wisconsin. Unfortunately, their American dream does not last long…
