Synopsis:
Nana Isachawili, a teacher from Eastern Europe wants to go to America to start a new life. She arrives in Vienna where they discover that her visa is false and she is kept in custody. She is about to be deported, but Nana refuses to return and manages to run away. Under the name Suzie Washington – taken from a girl she met on the way – she travels towards the west and the green border. On the way she meets all kinds of men who try to seduce her. Having arrived at the green border she attempts to cross over – with a stolen passport and in the company of illegal immigrants. But it seems that policemen, cows, and lonely men will always obstruct her on her way.
